Flight periods

The light gray color represents the general time limits of the species from the relevant area, and the dark gray when the species is most numerous. Probably with all species extralimital observations exist, and more will come with the ongoing global warming. I'll make corrections as seem fit. As of 2026 flight periods are only made for European species.

Scan = Scandinavia (Norway, Finland, Sweden and Denmark): Based on Billqvist 2023, but updated to current state (2025), based on the relevant citizen science databases.
EU = Europe meaning the general pattern for the entire continent, also separated into a northern and southern region where it makes sense. Based on Smallshire and Swash (2020).
ME = Mexico.
Cam = Central America.
ALL = The entire distribution range.
