Status: After a decrease through the last part of the last century the species is gaining momentum again having become more or less common in the eastern part of the country. But it is spreading westward to Jylland, where now seen regularly in many parts, though still in singular numbers as of 2025. Reached Hjørring in 2025.
Has not been seen: Rømø, Anholt, Endelave, as well as most smaller islands. - Has been spotted in Finland in 2024 for the first time supporting that a northbound expansion is indeed a fact. |
