Distribution:
Most of Europe; absent C Iberian peninsula, most of British Isles and Fennoscandinavia except S Sweden. Also N Africa. Also present in Russia and adjacent countries to C Asia. In Denmark mainly present in the eastern part of the country but slowly expanding toward the west.

LC(eu) LC(dk). Common in Denmark in the eastern part and is spreading westward to Jylland where now seen regularly in the eastern part north to Randers.
The species has a tendency to perch hidden in between branches and foliage why it can be a challenge to get a nice photo.
