Description:
A recreational area, park-like, that originally used to consist of bogs, from where peat was produced, until WWII. Later it became a garbage dump, and in the 70'ies finally transformed to the park it is today.
INTERESTS:
Dragonflies: I've only visited once, and it is not on the general agenda among Danish odies, but with 9 different species (puella, pulchellum, najas, imperator, isoceles, aenea, flavomaculata, metallica og quadrimaculata) I think the locality has potential. Especially 500+ Variable Bluets [Flagermus-vandnymfe] was interesting as well as finding all three common emeralds.
ACCESS (free 24/7):
On foot or bike. I'm not sure about car parking, but perhaps at the end of Mosetoften, marked on the map.
