Description:
Small pond that has worked as an educational environment for the school children in the municipality for more than half a century. It has been somewhat dormant for many years without much activity, but lately it has received new attention, being opened to the general public and also by being granted fonds to build new pavillions to house the visiting classes, and, as seen in the photo from May 2026, the pond itself is undergoing a mysterious radical change. I'm not sure what the project is about, but removing both the surrounding vegetation and the water implies serious changes. The behavior of course has had a negativ effect on existing life in the pond, resulting in all the odonate larvae being destroyed.

Dragonflies: sponsa, puella, pulchellum, cyathigerum, viridulum, elegans, affinis, cyanea, grandis, mixta, emperator, pratense, isoceles, depressa, quadrimaculata, cancellatum, danae, sanguineum, striolatum, aenea (20)

ACCESS (free 24/7): Enter on foot from either Bjørnbakvej or Brønderslev Allé.
