Hvidovre Strandenge (Denmark)   55.616882 12.495095   3050
Description:
Coastal meadow. Long grasses and sheep-managed. Partly flooded when much rain.

INTERESTS:
Mainly worth visiting for the presence of Blue-eyed Hawker (A. affinis) that used this site as one of the first in Denmark for breeding [supposedly].Egg-laying has been observed, but still no confirmed emergences yet, as I recall it(this should have been in season 2024).

ACCESS (free 24/7):
The area is fenced off per sections why it is most conveninient to get from one part to the other using the fence crossings, as marked on the map. In car you can park where indicated on the map; the other roads encircling the area are for bicycles only.
