Description:
Water-soldier waterhole. A semi-urban park-like locality behind Hørsholm cemetery and Arboretet (a botanical garden dedicated to trees).
INTERESTS:
Primarily a place to go to see Green Hawker [Grøn Mosaikguldsmed] which is a species that selectively requires the Water-soldier to deposit its eggs into. There is also a waterhole inside the cemetery with Water-soldiers, why you would want to check that one out too. But you'll find more individuals at the larger waterhole outside, as well as other dragonflies.
ACCESS (free 24/7):
You can access through the cemetery when it is open, or from Folehave Overdrev where you can also park. If you decide to walk through the cemetery, you can park at the corner of Kirkegårdsvej and Folehavevej, north of the cemetery.
