Coast-near village in between forests and agricultural fields.
INTERESTS:
A good spring migration spot for birds. Either from hill tops outside the village for soaring birds or from the north beach (Gjerrild strand on the map) for birds in general. The area holds local specialties like Stock Dove [Huldue], Eurasian Honey-Buzzard [Hvepsevåge] and Eurasian Green Woodpecker [Grønspætte]. In good years also many mushrooms.

Any road leading there. Accommodation at the Youth Hostel, the Inn or house renting.
