Male with deeply forked tail. Unmistakable in the area.

Adult male. Difficult to judge, but it looks like the tail is short, though you're still able to perceive the forked shape.

Male. Individuals with green all the way to the undertail, I suspect to be old birds,
since some males, 2796 and 2797 for example show rather much white on the lower belly. Of course this could have to do with natural variation, but I think it sounds more logical that it has to do with plumage development over time.

Female. The long forked tail, the gray breast and the short black bill make it unique in the area. No other has the long forked tail and female Mexican Woodnymph doesn't have the white ear-patch, Broad-billed female is larger with a longer bill and White-eared is more contrasting in the head with darker breast and square tail.

Though photographed next to the hummingbird feeders it only visited the real flowers in the surroundings.
