Identification:
Very similar to Transparent Burnet and only separable by details of the genitalia. Also useful clue is the different host plants they use.

In general shows a strong club-shaped tip to the antenna. 3 elongated red spots on the forewing. The distal and lateral one has a shape like the head of the femur bone at the distal end.

Like to gather on Field Scabious for the night.

Strongly declining in both Sweden and Denmark.

Lifer. Rather late in the season I managed to find this one single animal on a windy day, on Blueweed [Slangehoved] in the open heath area.

Very worn, but it is still possible to perceive the femur shape of the outer distant red spot. However, identification is only by locality, as it is well-known that Transparent Burnet [Timiankøllesværmer] in Denmark only can be found on Møn.
