Han. Female has more orange on the upper side of the forewing.

The only reliable area in Denmark to find this species.

This animal was foraging along the main dirt road leading through the forest, and not in the open, on the dike, which is where it apparently most often is found. Perhaps the strong wind today forced it to find shelter in between the trees.

Apparently 1. generation stops flying at the end of June, and 2. generation doesn't start to fly until the end of July, which could explain why we only saw this one animal.
