Pipistrellus species. Dværgflagermus (Pipistrellus pygmaeus) or Troldeflagermus (Pipistrellus nathusii). Not sure how to distinguish them, but apparently Troldeflagermus is the one seen on Amager. This one came flying slow and low directly toward me along the road and bumbed into my bike and fell to the ground. I picked it up, and put it on a nearby trunk where it quickly found a crevice to hide in. It probably was disturbed at is roosting site...speculating that too many covid 19 visitors had an effect. |
