Light Orange Underwing (Boudinotiana notha ) Poppeldagmåler (dk) Grå Flickfjäril (se) 2023-04-20 Kalvebod Fælled, Denmark
Imago. ♂. Heksegryden i Pinseskoven. I'm still struggling with the differences between parthenias (Birkedagmåler) and notha when it comes to the wing patterns, but the antennas of the males are species specific where notha has a comb-like antenna shape whereas on parthenias it is serrated. I guess the small black spot in the middle on the hindwing is a good support for the species as well. Perhaps the same as another individual that I had in the same spot the day before. |
