Lucy's Warbler (Leiothlypis luciae) monotypic Rødgumpet Sanger ~ Chipe Rabadilla Castaña ~ Rostgumpad Skogssångare 2016-03-03 Monteón (nay), Mexico
Characteristic in its own discrete manner. The small size and compact shape with milky-white plumage often reveals it even though it forages among gnatcatchers and other pale warblers. However the chestnut colored rump is diagnostic, which can be appreciated in these photos. Is normally silent here in the winter area. |
