Cassin's Vireo (Vireo cassinii cassinii) Grå Brillevireo ~ Vireo de Cassin ~ Cassinvireo 2012-10-22 Las Trojes (Jocotepec - jal), Mexico
Perhaps the color of the foliage cheats, but am still pretty sure that is not the case, and that the yellowish dirty flanks are reel, thus excluding Plumbeous Vireo (Vireo plumbeus). |

Cassin's Vireo (Vireo cassinii cassinii) Grå Brillevireo ~ Vireo de Cassin ~ Cassinvireo 2015-10-22 Bosque Los Colomos (Guadalajara), Mexico
Territorial song which is common among wintering birds. Sounds a lot like Plumbeous Vireo, but tones sharper. |

Cassin's Vireo (Vireo cassinii cassinii) Grå Brillevireo ~ Vireo de Cassin ~ Cassinvireo 2015-10-24 Parque Metropolitano (Guadalajara), Mexico
Territorial song. Same place as 1880, thus likely same bird, though 1880 sounds somewhat sharper than this one. |

Cassin's Vireo (Vireo cassinii [cassinii by location]) Grå Brillevireo ~ Vireo de Cassin ~ Cassinvireo 2020-01-06 Carretera Pánuco (sin), Mexico
A pale bird, but the faded transition between the gray head and the throat supports this species. The photos was taken in Landscape mode where it looked very greenish yellow on the flanks and upper side. |
