Orange-fronted Parakeet (Eupsittula canicularis clarae) Elfenbensparakit ~ Perico Frente Naranja ~ Elfenbensparakit 2012-01-29 Campo Alpuyeque (Colima), Mexico
Orange front unique. Only parakeet in the area. Rather common, but as with most parrots it's difficult to photograph. |

Orange-fronted Parakeet (Eupsittula canicularis clarae) Elfenbensparakit ~ Perico Frente Naranja ~ Elfenbensparakit 2015-12-30 Barranca de Oblatos-Huentitán (jal), Mexico
Adults I presume - likely a pair. Normally you see the species speeding screaming by making it difficult to see the blue wing patch, which is very clear here. It's funny that it's not possible to see the orange front from this angle, even though the side of the head is quite visible. |

Adult. Characteristic with the orange front. One of the 4 wild parrot species you can experience around Guadalajara. The only parakeet in the area - However, Monk Parakeet introduced from Argentina is expanding rapidly, though mostly seen within the urban area above the canyon. |

Orange-fronted Parakeet (Eupsittula canicularis ?) Elfenbensparakit ~ Perico Frente Naranja ~ Elfenbensparakit 2019-11-27 Cuernavaca (mor), Mexico
Mostly identified by being the only parakeet expected in this area. Hopefully it´s the angle that makes it difficult to see the orange front... |
