Black Hawk-Eagle (Spizaetus tyrannus serus) Sort Høgeørn ~ Águila Tirana ~ Tyrannörn 2018-03-11 Yelapa (jal), Mexico
Adult bird with uniformly black body and head. My first. Interesting to see how the hand is bending when seen head on, giving the bird a mechanical drone-like expression. During the last years the species has become more or less regular in the Cabo Corrientes area and up to San Blas. |
