Female. In comparison to females of Lazuli Bunting (Passerina amoena) and Varied Bunting (Passerina versicolor) the whitish throat and the softly streaked breast are charateristics. None of these are to be found on Yucatán though. Female of Blue Grosbeak (Passerina caerulea) has a larger bill and broader buffy wingbars. |
