2017-03-25 Camino a Bioto (Cabo Corrientes - jal), Mexico
Subspecies: uncinatus 2cy bird with dark brown head and white nape. Can show both a streaked and an un-streaked breast. This one has the latter. 4 dark bands on the tail separate it from the adults which have 2. The protruding bill and the paddle shaped wings should always make this species easily recognizable. |
