Subspecies: rubra Adult. Highland species especially present in the Sierra Madre Occidental and the volcanic belt, above 2000 meters. This one has a very pronounced gray eyebrow. Notice how the reddish sides to the tail feathers almost paint the tail itself. Warbler, in combination with overcast weather and dense understory is not the right receipt to obtain good photos... |
