Subspecies: poliocephala Adult with characteristic gray on the forhead. Compared to Common Yellowthroat this species is found in more dry habitat with dense brush - also away from water. |

Subspecies: poliocephala Female. A big local warbler. There are a different range of yellowish warblers visiting during winter which could cause problems when trying to id, but it is always easy to recognize with the big bill. |
