Adult. ♂. Adult male. A strongly colored individual. Not studied in the field - only from the photo. The strong black eye-stripe for a short while gave thoughts of a Golden-cheeked, but a slight greenish cast from the back is noticeable, and there is a touch of yellow on the belly and rear flank which excludes this species. That the cheek looks so unmarked must be because of the angle. |
