Subspecies: leucopterus Adult. Perched it is difficult to distinguish from Tropical Mockingbird (Mimus gilvus). But when flying TM shows an obvious white patch in the wing, which NM does not have. The two have almost completely separate distribution areas though, making it a hypothetical problem in most cases. |
