Small white spot at base of bill, mentioned on birdforum.net as a reliable identification character compared to Willow Tit (Poecile montanus).

KLNV. A nice find (by me). Out of the blue it was there on the feeding net, that some unknown person put up. Interesting to find the species inside the forest, though attracted by food. More birds are seen in these years, and it can only be a question of time before we have the first breeding pair on the island. Also: Coal Tit. |
