When I saw it in the binoculars, I thought it looked like a Pewee, because it looked so longish and overall gray, something the normal empidonax's from the area don't show. It was strange, however, that a constant empidonax whit call was heard in direct of the bird, and there didn't seem to be other birds around, why I assume that it came from this bird.The proportions fit a Gray Flycatcher well, and I allow myself to believe I can see a well-marked black tip to the bill below, on photo 2, why I in all likewise will allow myself to count my first Gray Flycatcher in Jalisco! |
