Subspecies: erythrozonus The only one I saw. Can't say anything about age at this distance - young birds paler bill and eye. Taken from Temple II in direction of Temple I. Distance approximately 500 meters. |

Subspecies: erythrozonus? Ruins. Sexes almost similar. The subspecies supposed to be in Campeche, erythrzonus, also is supposed to have a smaller black chest spot which does not seem to be the case with this bird. Torquatus spreading south or merely individual variation? |
