Subspecies: auropectoralis (by location) [Lilian's] Western and Eastern Meadowlarks are very similar, but only Eastern is present in this area. Id supported by the clean white malar stripe. Not a particularly warm yellow color on this bird, which the present subspecies is supposed to have. But it is probably a very variable character, and it should also be taken into consideration that the bird is photographed through a window. |
