2019-06-07 Rancho Primavera (El Tuito - jal), Mexico
Subspecies: mexicanus Adult rescue bird, came to the ranch after cage past. The idea was for it to return to its wild behavior and connect with the wild macaws that are getting more numerous in the area thanks to the work of the macaw sanctuary close by where a nesting program has proven very successful. But this bird apparently can't let go of its human attachment why it will probably continue as a free flying pet for the rest of its life. |
