Subspecies: [hypoleuca by location] Adult male singing. A rather discrete song that could easily drown among the more dominant species in the forest. This bird was seen in the southeast department at a supposed breeding spot in mixed mature oak forest with dense understory. Very likely same bird in 3418. Call notes around 00:34 to 00:45. Also: Great Tit, Eurasian Blackbird, Common Chiffchaff, Common Chaffinch. |
