Subspecies: ulula 1cy bird. Same as 2384 and 2385. Rare in Denmark, mostly during invasion years like this one. The first in many years on Amager. Old and young birds look very much alike, but the marked v-shaped fringes to the outer primaries indicate a young bird. This does also the generally brownish plumage and very worn feathers, especially rectries and tertials. When first they arrive they tend to be very faithful to their place as this bird that was discovered the day before, and in the moment of writing, December 24th, is still in place. Very confident which the photos from the different days probably also indicate. |

Subspecies: ulula 1 cy bird. Same as 2383 and 2384. Of course the light is different, but still it looks like the plumage has faded drastically during the little less than a month since I visited last time. Compare for example the tertials with the ones in photo 2384-16. |
