The Goddess Tzapotlatena. As a symbol of the immensely big role the corn plant has always played to the indigenous and present people of this region, she represents the power that make the plant grow and by providing food to the people, to make societies grow and prosper. She is also the Goddess of curation and birth. According to the legends she invented a solution based on resin from pine trees, which was used to treated various diseases. Obviously she caught my eyes first of all because of her beautifully protruding breasts. And practically being the first human construction you see when you arrive in Ciudad Guzmán |
