Comment | Imago. Not sure at all about the species. There were many yellows earth licking, and most without showing uppersides. I'm going with this species because of the small size, see other photos from the day, warm color and rounded hindwing without any particular markings on it. My Glassberg guide is useless when it comes to the whites and yellows, also because there have been a major reclassification of the family recently. But photos on naturalista.mx also show a large variation within the species, and in general all the American resources are followed by ZERO written explanations about how to identify the species, why you are left to pure guessing in many cases. | ||||||||||||
