Imago. According to lepiforum.org it is not possible to separate this species from Treple-Bar (A. plagiata) by the wing pattern but the Danes do it constantly even by a superficial glance of a poor online photo. The overall perception of the number of dark lines/bands on the forewing, where plagiata shows 3 and efformata only two is what they go by. And trying to use that approach this animal will be an efformata because the submarginal wavy lines are not so contrasting. Plagiata is much rarer than efformata in Denmark. |
