Adult. ♂ and ♀. Grønjordssøen. Even more unusual that a number two bird showed up! And that the first bird now has been present for two weeks. But these are the facts, and apparently they are courting each other, expecting them to male and female then. Unless the raised position is also used to simply greet a conspecific creature of either sex. They are still present on the 25th. Update: Apparently disappeared on April 30th, while two birds showed up at Utterslev Mose, that very likely were these two. Too much disturbance and in general an unsuited lake for breeding, I would guess. |
