Sex, Age, Comment | My first impression of this bird was that it was Giant Cowbird, based on the elongated profile with a powerful bill. But afterward I've decided that it must be a Melodious Blackbird where the photo misleads. This I say mostly because of the short primary projection - the cowbird has a long projection. Even if the angle is difficult it is possible to appreciate that the projection on this bird is rather short, and it fits the blackbird perfectly. Never saw the bird fly or anything else since I didn't give it much attention when I saw it. | ||||||||||||
