Pumpehus-broen og langs materielgården. Bird 3. Third bird suspected to be a Siberian chiffchaff -tristis. The sharp call made me suspect that. But spectrograms deviated constantly from a classic tristis, and after some research I'm now pretty sure all of these sharp-calling birds that we see during these days are of the northern subspecies. Perhaps the birds come from the eastern part of the range, close to where tristis belong, since there is a slight similarity to the quality of the call the two between. |
