Forum Romano. Female type. Looks very bright - almost like a Common Redstart. But is caused by the light and the angle. The bright lower mandible makes me suspect that the bird is a first year individual. However, the literature cannot confirm this (the new Robins and Chats by Clement don't mention anything about the bill color on females or young birds!) Seen at the same spot as the male 2360. |
