Sex, Age, Comment | Female-type. Calliope Hummingbird (Stellula calliope) is the one I believe most in: Little with short tail and bill and no rufous on rump and tail. Alternatively Broad-tailed Hummingbird(Selasphorus platyrcercus) though it should show a longer bill and tail. I am not sure if it is possible to separate the two in flight. Never saw the bird perched. | ||||||||||||
