Adult. ♂. Brain-dead photo to present. But I was half-hearted on this, because it was too far away. But then again, a new Dk species, so I had to try. But if you decide to do so, of course you should try to get the best possible shot, and not just accept a first shot from the hip, only to later realizing that the head is turned away and back, and that the bird in the photo could be practically any duck. If it wasn't for the vertical white band on the body... It was first found some weeks ago near Hillerød, and then again yesterday here. And then decided to stay, giving me a chance too. The species is definitely spontaneous in Europe, but who says if this individual is. No bands have been seen, though, so I guess it will be accepted as a cat A. |
