Apparently a green bird. Discovered by sound when it flew over Hejresøen toward southwest on a completely calm morning. The crossbill shape should be recognizable, though I guess it could be any of them based on appearance only, even though one could argue that the bill looks finer than you would expect it on a Parrot Crossbill for example. The call is like a liquid version of the flight call of the more common redpolls. I think my first on Amager. |
