Unmistakable sound, and very characteristic too visually with the grayish tinted streaked breast and finely streaked throat and broadly banded undertail coverts. A large warbler preferring to sit obscured, but luckily came out here for a short while. Found it myself. Same spot as where it was seen many years ago in a lush clearing on the north side of the forest. A good year for the species in Denmark and expected on Amager too. Photo 4 uncropped. Also: [0:44], [0:23] Eurasian Blackbird. [0:43] [0:12] Eurasian Blackcap. |
