Adult bird. A very variable species, this bird beautifully beige-colored with a rufous tint. Discovered, as many day roosting owls are, by being harassed by smaller birds. Here jays, blackbirds and I think some tits too. Southeast department, next to the main road one hundred meters from the junction with Skovvej, sitting 20 meters up in a tall pine. |
