Slightly out of focus but rather typical in appearance for a collybita subspecies. The yellow-brownish cast is obvious to the eyebrow and sides of breast. The structural expression as the bird looks in picture 1 is spot on for the species. Willow Warbler would look more elongated. Here the primary projection looks pretty long for a Chiffchaff, but is emphasized too much by the strong angle. Very common migrant in autumn. |
