Sex, Age, Comment | Adult male? The bird landing. The plumage looks like it belongs to an adult, and the bluish gray bill looks like it belongs to a male, but why isnt' it frosty white in the head then? Is it only a breeding character after all, or is it something only older males have, making this one a young adult? Other species are Heermann's Gull, Blue-footed Booby and very likely a young Brown Booby. | ||||||||||||
