Sex, Age, Comment | Young male with dark throat. Other than 2814, but same place and time. Admitting that it is a judgment call, and that it took a while before I agreed with myself that it has to this species. I'm talking about the upper bird, and the one flying away I think is a young Bullocks with the pale gray part on the belly. That the other bird is a Hooded I say mainly because of the uniformly colored underside, the long tail and the fact that, though it seems to have a fine dark line behind the eye, it doesn't provoke the perception of a brighter eyebrow above it, which would normally be the effect had it been a Bullocks. The head reminds a lot of the adult Streak-backed Oriole, but longish looking shape of the bird plus the pale tail excludes this option. | ||||||||||||
