♂. River below. Male. Individuals with green all the way to the undertail, I suspect to be old birds, since some males, 2796 and 2797 for example show rather much white on the lower belly. Of course this could have to do with natural variation, but I think it sounds more logical that it has to do with plumage development over time. |
