Sex, Age, Comment | Adult. Unmistakable if seen well. The chachalacas don't have so big throat flap, and has less red eye and less bare skin around the eye, and it is normally blackish, not bluish black as here. The white neck streaks are characteristic of the guan as well. Rather common in the area around the camp, and easier to get to see than the also present chachalacas. | ||||||||||||
