Sex, Age, Comment | Probably 1cy bird. Same as 1457. The species is difficult to age, but here where the tail feathers are very worn, I think it is safe to determine it as a first year bird, since old birds should have fresh tail feathers at this time of year. More pointed tail feathers is also a trait of the young bird, but I'm not sure how variable the character is. I don't think the feathers on this bird looks very pointed. | ||||||||||||
