Was sitting on the window of the swimming facility, Vestamager Svømmehal.
I tried to touch it to have it open the wings, but in stead it flew, allowing me to see the red hind wings, but no other details.
I've had the id confirmed on naturbasen.dk, because I thought it looked like the very rare French Red Underwing (Catocala elocata), but, as usual, the deviations from the guide book information, was caused by variation rather than species distinctiveness.
