Imago ♀ Villa Fridhem 2 km west of Getå. The rocky lookout above the railway tracks overlooking the sea. Lifer! Other Danes rather stupidly look for the species along the railway tracks below this spot. Why I don't know, but maybe they think it's cooler to jeopardize themselves (and others) in the pursuit of new species. A short walk uphill from the conference center Fridhem gives you access to the species in a natural habitat. We only had this one animal here, though, but I would expect that we could have seen more if we had explored the area some more. Not sure, but would guess it's a female by the large black spots on the hindwing. |
